The objective of this contest is for a robot to follow a white line on a blue background, without losing the line. The robot that completes the course in the shortest period of time while accurately tracking the course line from start to finish, wins
Indigenous category includes robots that are constructed from scratch. Their mechanical structure, controls etc. should be designed and fabricated by the teams themselves. The electronic control modules should be designed and manufactured by the participants themselves.
Modular category includes robots that are developed using ready-made kits for example Lego or Vex Robotics kits etc.
Robot may navigate through the floor using any suitable technique. The robot must fit within 30cm x 30cm square at all times of its operation. Any robot which does not meet this requirement will be disqualified. All electronic circuitry must be designed and fabricated by the contestants themselves i.e. Off-the-shelf circuit boards are not allowed. There is no restriction on the type and number of sensors used. In modular category, only parts that are available in the kit can be used. The robots must be battery powered. On-board voltages should not exceed 48V DC at any point. No wire connections to external power outlets are allowed. Batteries should be secured firmly on to the robot. Power sources that are considered dangerous or unsuitable by the Contest Officials shall not be permitted. The robot must not use any harmful substances such as oil, petrol, explosives, etc. in its operation or anything that can damage the arena.
Contestants will be given time for trial run before the contest to calibrate their robots/sensors on the actual arena/game field.Robots can start at the instant when the start signal is given and a whistle is blown. Robots must be constructed so that it can be started in minimum possible steps.Once started, the robot must be self-controlled without any human intervention. Remote control of any sort is not allowed. Contestants are not allowed to touch their robots or enter the contest arena after startup.Any robot that loses the line course must reacquire the line at the point where it was lost, or at any already traversed point.
There will be a white line on blue background that the robots have to follow. The line will be 3 cm wide. The path will include circular turns. Circular turns will have a minimum radius of 5 inches. The exact layout will be uploaded later by the event heads.
The contest will be divided into two rounds: a qualifying round followed by the final round. Approximately, top 30% of teams participating in the qualifying round will qualify for the final round Each robot will have maximum 3 minutes in the qualifying round and 4 minutes in the final round to complete the task. Teams will be given 1 minute for setting-up the robot at the start. The lighting conditions will be the same for each participant. There may be fluorescent light and diffused natural sunlight in the room. The robot must accommodate these conditions.
The contest judges may stop any robot at any given time if they feel that it is performing or about to perform any action that is hazardous to the arena. The decision of the judges will be final. The event organizers reserve the right to modify the rules without prior notice. You will have to follow the designated path, whatever method you use for detection of the path. The participants will have to solve a crime case (could be a murder case) by identifying true criminal(s), cause and consequence of the crime and the real story behind. They will proceed to unfold clues by visiting places of interest and interrogating witnesses and suspects. Finally they will make a report of whatever they conclude from their investigation.

This is an individual competition. Integration Bee is a competition which tests integration (Calculus) skills of the participants. In the first round of the competition, all the participants will take a one-hour test with a number of integration problems on it. The top 32 or 16 scorers on the test will be shortlisted to round two. In the second round, the shortlisted participants will be called for 1 vs 1 match; the two competitors of a given match are decided through draws. In the 1 vs 1 match, each of the two participants will be provided with a white board and a marker and both will have to attempt an integration problem which will appear on the projector screen in front of them. The same screen will be visible to audience as well. The candidate finding the solution to the problem first will be considered as the winner of the match. This knockout pattern will go on until the winner is decided from the final round.
People get ready; time has come for the ultimate survival battle - the fierce duel between robots, fighting for honour and supremacy over their counterparts. It will be brutal. It will be vicious. Gears will grind and sparks will fly. But in the end, glory will prevail.

On this arduous quest, you will be faced with many obstacles, the Dire Wolves of the north, the Sand Snakes in the south, the lions form the West, the dragons in the East.
